bruce c. belliveau, cfa

Mr. Belliveau has over 30 years of experience advising companies, as an investment banker, and in a senior operating and financial executive capacity, on all aspects of strategic positioning and capital raising initiatives. In addition to his efforts at ROMAN ARCH Clean Energy Finance, Mr. Belliveau is also a Managing Director with CNS Global Advisors, a leading international strategic consulting and financial advisory firm (www.cnsglobaladvisors.com).

A native of western Massachusetts, Mr. Belliveau began his career with Dow Chemical in Midland, MI before moving on to Wall Street where, as a senior investment banking professional, he advised U.S., Europe, Middle East and Asia-based companies on all aspects of equity and debt financings, strategic positioning, and merger & acquisitions. As an investment banker, Mr. Belliveau completed 48 public and private equity financings, 14 debt financings and 15 financial advisory assignments, encompassing over 100 successful client engagements. Following Wall Street he joined a former client, the preeminent international corporate governance advisory concern, and a leading provider of shareholder response services, financial communications and securities-related business process outsourcing services, as an Executive Vice President and its global Group Chief Financial Officer. While with this company he was instrumental in growing the company from under $40 million to over $200 million in revenue and extended its operations to over 10 countries. Following that position, Mr. Belliveau was the Chief Financial Officer for an international media company based in the Washington, DC metro area.

Mr. Belliveau is on the Advisory Board of Basemark Oy, Helsinki, Finland, a world leading software development concern providing real-time graphics and compute software solutions for mission critical industrial applications. Basemark also develops system performance evaluation tools. He is also a Senior Advisor for XiGo Nanotools, Inc., Bethlehem, PA, a leading global particle characterization device manufacturer and marketer. XiGo has the objective of addressing the growing unmet need in nanotechnology for tools that enable scientists to measure nanoparticles as concentrated dispersions in liquids. 

 Mr. Belliveau has a Masters in International Public Policy with a concentration in Energy, Resources and the Environment from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University, an MBA in Finance, with a minor in Strategic Planning, from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and BS degrees in Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He has completed executive programs at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and London Business School, among others, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified in Financial Management (CFM) and a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), as well as being a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) and Lean Sensei (CSSLS). He also has the proud distinction of being an Eagle Scout.

 Mr. Belliveau lives in Washington, DC with his wife Dr. Lana Awada, PhD.
