Shenville Solar Projects LLC

Shenville Solar Projects (“Shenville Solar”) develops solar + storage projects in the state of Virginia. Shenville Solar is a joint venture between Evergreen Valley LLC and ROMAN ARCH Clean Energy for the co-development of solar projects in certain specific counties in the state of Virginia. Shenville Solar targets land acquisition and early-stage development activities. Shenville Solar recently had a 20 MW-ac solar project, co-located with 12 MW (24 MWh) DC-coupled storage successfully accepted into the PJM interconnection queue. There is an additional 10 MW-ac and a 50-70 MW-ac solar + storage project under development for eventual submission to the PJM application process.


Notch Peak Solar

Notch Peak Solar (“Notch Peak”) is 350 MW solar energy generation plant located 3 miles west of the Intermountain Power Plant (IPP) in Utah. Notch Peak is developed and owned by BayWa r.e. Solar Projects LLC (“BayWa”) – a leading solar developer with more than 3,000 MW of growing pipeline throughout the Americas leveraging the scale and market leadership of the German parent company. The IPP is undergoing a major transformation from coal generation to an energy hub fueled by solar, wind, green hydrogen and natural gas. IPP is a consortium owned by municipal utilities in California and Utah. The IPP’s primary market is the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power (LADWP). LADWP is completing system upgrades in preparation for the “New IPP” when coal generation will be decommissioned in 2025. ROMAN ARCH Clean Energy was the Advisor to BayWa in the acquisition of Notch Peak and retains a development interest in the project.


ROMAN ARCH Project Development

ROMAN ARCH Clean Energy provides project development services for its clients and, through ROMAN ARCH Project Development, develops projects for its own account. The Firm recently established Shenville Solar Projects LLC to pursue utility-scale solar + storage development in certain specific counties in the state of Virginia. The Firm also pursues proprietary development through ROMAN ARCH Project Development in certain other counties in Virginia, as well as in other states. ROMAN ARCH Clean Energy, through co-development arrangements, partners with various leading developer/IPP clients of the Firm, depending on the scale of project.
